How sweet is the sound of the Sweet Adelines. I have followed their career with interest and joy for many years.

My niece in Tulsa, Okla., where the Sweet Adelines originated, was one of the early members in the 1950s. She has a beautiful voice, as do all of them today.

I want to congratulate the Sweet Adelines on their recent fine performance at St. Andrew Lutheran Church and for the 15 years of fine entertainment in Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois.

Barbershop harmony isn't just singing. It requires skill, an ear for music and a good voice. It is a unique art deserving of all the fine credit it is getting.

My the Sweet Adelines continue to entertain so beautifully, so skillfully and so faithfully. The joy it brings to the performers is equaled by the joy it brings to the listeners.
