LETTERS: POLICE COMMEND PHOTOGRAPHER

To the editor:

I would like to take this opportunity to extend our appreciation to Mr. Don Shrubshell, your staff photographer, for his assistance in two recent cases in Cape Girardeau.

As a result of Mr. Shrubshell's quick thinking and willingness to get involved, we were able to recapture a prisoner who had walked away from a work program, as well as identify two juveniles responsible for the theft of private property.

Mr. Shrubshell has been a longtime friend to the Cape Girardeau Police Department. His spirit of cooperation coupled with his technical expertise have proved invaluable to our community.

Once again, our sincere appreciation for Mr. Shrubshell's assistance.
