Oxymoron is one of my favorite words, from Greek "oxys" meaning sharp or keen and "moros" meaning foolish. An oxymoron is a contradiction in terms. I am not an expert, but by applying some Bollinger County logic, oxymoron comes to mind regarding the following.

In the Feb. 16 Newsweek, Barbra Streisand was quoted as saying, "We elected him president, not pope," when asked her opinion regarding President Clinton's alleged sexual misconduct. If I am not mistaken, Streisand has been vocal in the past regarding men in power who exploit women. I want to let Striesand know that it is not Clinton's sex life that I care about. It's the fact that he disregards the presidential oath of office to uphold the Constitution of the United States. He continues to push socialistic regulations and programs as though our Constitution did not exist. The fact that he may also disregard his marriage vows does not surprise me.

The second item that seems rather contradictory to me is this threat to bomb Iraq. Doesn't it seem rather strange that we would use weapons of mass destruction on someone who may have weapons of mass destruction to ensure that weapons of mass destruction are not used? Or do I have a different definition of weapons of mass destruction?
