To the editor:
Time is running out. We have a president and an attorney general who both publicly admit to trying to get around the Constitution whenever it gets in the way of their goals. We have a corporate U.S. government trying to replace our unalienable rights with civil rights and privileges and signing away our sovereignty to the new world order.
There is a general misconception that any statute passed by elected legislators becomes the law of the land. However, next to the law of God, the U.S. Constitution is our highest law. If this is true, then why do we fear our government? Because we are ignorant. Stupidity only comes into play if we accept and revel in our ignorance.
In a continuing effort to educate ourselves, the Confederate Society of America, a political group fighting with the weapons of truth and education for the Constitution and the God-given, unalienable rights of all Americans, will be the host for a study session and discussion on jury rights and responsibilities at 7:30 p.m. June 6 at Oh! Suzanna's Family Dance Hall on Highway 21 in Ironton.
Please come. There is strength with knowledge. There is fear and oppression with ignorance. Our continued liberty depends on you who will stand with the strength of knowledge.
