LETTERS: MAGUIRE SALUTED FOR BOARD SERVICE

To the editor:

On behalf of the Cape Girardeau Cable TV Advisory Board, I would like to publicly thank Michael Maguire for his years of dedicated service to this community board.

Mr. Maguire was the first member of this board when it was formed almost 10 years ago and provided leadership as its chairman during his tenure. He dedicated many hours to overseeing that the franchise agreement between the city and the cable company was being upheld and was instrumental in the re-negotiation of the franchise agreement with the citys cable provider.

He has accepted an appointment on the Cape Girardeau Library Board, and we wish him well.
