It is very disturbing to see children killing anyone or anything. It is terrifying to think that they could even think to get a gun or knife and end a life. What is even more terrifying is that everyone is so quick to put the blame on this person or that law. The blame goes to our country as a whole.

We are overtaxed. This causes both parents to work outside the home. Then we have conflicting views between the parents and the sitters. This is enough to confuse any child.

We have teachers who teach liberalism. The political views of the teachers should not be reflected in the class room. Here we have more contradictions to confuse our children. I'm not saying not to teach politics in the classroom. I'm saying make it bipartisan. I lean toward the Reform Party. My mother is Republican. What party will your children lean toward? Will they have the opportunity to choose, or will you choose it for them.

Parents of children, you are guilty as well. How many times have you looked down your nose at some poor child or someone who is different from you? Parents, stop teaching your children to hate.

Guns? It is my constitutional right to own a gun. Guns don't kill. People with confused and twisted brains kill. Stop confusing our children. Politicians seem to ignore a sense of fair play, while they themselves ignore and twist the laws to their advantage. Is this an ethical role model for our children? If our leaders can't uphold good ethical standards, and our parents don't have time, and our teachers push their own brand of politics, how can we expect our children to understand right from wrong.

Many thanks to my mother for allowing me to think for my self.
