The liberal politicians are always mouthing the word "progress" around as if this is something magical created by them to benefit mankind.

Just what does progress mean? It means the advancement toward a goal. Whose goal? Everyone has a different goal. The goal of the rich is to get richer. Of course, this is achieved by taking from the working class. The goal of the politician in many cases is staying in office as long as possible and increasing his power over the people. This is also at the expense of the middle class (mainly the working people).

The goal of the middle-class working people is to keep their heads above water (in spite of the deck being staked against them). Most of them would be happy to get out of debt and maybe set a few dollars aside for their retirement years. But this is practically impossible when progress includes making the rich even richer and supporting the whole world with what the politicians call foreign aid. I'm sure if the people know just how much money has been thrown down that rat hole and how much less our national debt would be if this had not been done, they would be a little more suspicious of anyone promising progress.

Dismantling all socialist programs from our government and returning to constitutional government would truly be progress for everyone.
