To the editor:
Once again we are at war with another nation we know little about. Research I have done to find out why the Serbs and the Albanians are fighting just leads into more research. I found more questions than answers in my quest.
Years ago, the Serbs inhabited this land now called Kosovo. The Serbs left this area because it was no longer inhabitable. (Our desert is mostly uninhabitable, but I don't think we would give it up to another people.) Now the Albanians were inhabiting this land but refuse to live under the Serbian rule. (If you come to the United States, you will be expected to live under our laws.)Some in defense of the NATO actions say they are preventing another ethnic cleansing like Hitler with the Jews. If this were true, then the Albanians would not have been driven out but slain and put in mass graves.
If the war goes beyond the Serbian borders. we should be concerned. Until then, it appears to be a civil war, and the use of necessary force to hold other boundaries together would be legitimate.
Some other disturbing information I dug up is that the Albanian separatists are leaders in drug trafficking. Whyis Clinton so eager to defend drug smugglers.
If the truth be known, it is not the people of a nation who want to go to war. It is the leaders of the countries. Most people in this country don't agree with this war. I wonder if it is the same in Serbia.
