LETTERS: IT'S CHRISTMASTIME IN HEAVEN

To the editor:

It's Chritmastime in Heaven.

The redeemed are around God's great throne

Giving him praise and thanksgiving

For their eternal home.

Angels with their golden harps

Sing songs with the redeemed

Giving thank for all mankind

For their heavenly king.

While children sit on Jesus' knee

And sing him songs so sweet,

Others sit in humble prayer

So close to his dear feet.

They can see the scars of Calvary

Upon the savior's hands,

Knowing it was for them he died,

The savior of all man.

If we here on Earth give our praises,

How much more do the redeemed up above.

Knowing they are with Jesus

They rejoice in his great love.

So it's Christmastime in Heaven

As well as here on Earth,

And saints of God give him glory,

For it is the day of Christ's birth.
