I clean the house, work in the garden, make things of wood and other materials, paint and go to the grocery store. When I go to the store, I am still wearing my work clothes with holes, dirt and paint all over them on most occasions.Unfortunately not everyone in town knows me. I get looks from frightened shoppers who must think I am going to mug them. They look at me with distaste as though my clothes may be harboring some disease. You have to feel sorry for the people who think this way, but it is their loss.

On many occasions I am the one who holds the door for you, picks you up when you have fallen, returns your purse to the counter and corrects you when you have given me too much change. If you take the time to smile at me, you may be surprised.
