To the editor: When I was 7 years old, I witnessed God's supernatural power in a personal way. It was then that I first became aware of God's hand on my life. It was 12 years later, after traveling many different roads searching for happiness and peace, that God once again supernaturally intervened in my life. The Lord showed me that peach and joy are found in trusting in him and his Word...

To the editor:

When I was 7 years old, I witnessed God's supernatural power in a personal way. It was then that I first became aware of God's hand on my life.

It was 12 years later, after traveling many different roads searching for happiness and peace, that God once again supernaturally intervened in my life. The Lord showed me that peach and joy are found in trusting in him and his Word.

Nevertheless, the world has a way of distracting one from this truth. Soon I was on the road again, looking for the love only God can give. I reached a point in my life where I had vowed I would never be. I became an alcoholic.

I was about to lose my family and my job. At the age of 38, I had reached a bridge in my life with the choice of living or dying. God provided me the opportunity to make that choice in a supernatural way.

The choice I made was to live and have a personal relationship with the Lord. On August 1, 1981, I was completely healed of my addiction. I have since served the Lord with all my heart and have used the talents he has given me to the best of my ability.
