To the editor: I read an article once that was written by a liberal columnist who was trying to convince the public that liberals were the salt of the earth. Of course, there were more omissions in this article than statements of fact. First he failed to mention that stealing from the working people and giving to everyone in the world who has his hands out is immoral, unfair and unconstitutional. ...

To the editor:

I read an article once that was written by a liberal columnist who was trying to convince the public that liberals were the salt of the earth.

Of course, there were more omissions in this article than statements of fact. First he failed to mention that stealing from the working people and giving to everyone in the world who has his hands out is immoral, unfair and unconstitutional. Secondly, he failed to mention that socialism has contributed to the downfall of all the countries that have tried it.

The only good point that he attributed to liberals was that they were generous. Maybe I'm wrong, but I always thought that sacrificing something of your own to give to someone else was generosity. I can't see where giving someone else's hard-earned money to gain votes and power can be construed as generosity.
