To the editor:

Last November we asked the Southeast Missouri community to come together in a financial relief effort for Merrily Rinehart and her family. While Merrily underwent surgery to remove a tumor in her brain and six weeks of radiation and chemotherapy, we set out with love in our hearts and the guidance of the Lord to help this special woman.

We would like to take this time to sincerely thank everyone who over the last few months has been so generous with time, contributions and prayers. It is a true testament of all the wonderful things that can be accomplished when we step forward and assist those in need.
