To the editor:

I was surprised to see a picture of Frank Rayburn, a very dear friend of mine, in an article concerning organ transplants. The article said Frank had received a heart. Upon reading this, my thoughts took me back to my grade-school days when Frank and I became acquainted. The thing I remembered about Frank more than anything else was the love and kindness that came from his heart. We have crossed paths over the years, and Frank still has that heart of love that only God can give. Frank received a heart of flesh, and I am so glad this is possible. This gift has extended his life. And for those of us who love him, this gives us more opportunities to feel the love God has for us which is reflected in the heart of Frank Rayburn.
