Concerning the woman who let her two boys drown: This young woman didn't abort her babies, so obviously she planned to raise them.

What about the father? Not much has been said about his background. Was he a good provider? Did he help with the children? As anyone knows who has raised them, children require care around the clock, whether you are tired, overworked or without sleep. Sometimes eating a meal waits until they are fed. Meals have to be prepared, laundry done, house cleaned and grocery shopping. Husbands sometimes don't meet all the needs.

No, not just children need love. All people of all ages need love to live and to face the everyday trials that are there when we get up.

The young woman wasn't cruel or mean to her children before. So what caused her to do this? We need to feel mercy, not condemnation. Be merciful, as God is merciful. He is the ultimate judge.
