To the editor: The school bond issue set for April 4 is a very important step for Cape Girardeau. The public school system in any community helps to make that area more appealing to industry and new growth. To the editor:

The school bond issue set for April 4 is a very important step for Cape Girardeau. The public school system in any community helps to make that area more appealing to industry and new growth.

I believe this school bond issue will help take the Cape Girardeau School District as well as the city to the next level. To achieve this goal, there needs to be strong voter approval.

As president of the Cape Central Athletic Foundation, I and the members of the board of directors support this bond issue and urge Cape Girardeau voters to vote yes on April 4.
