LETTERS: CAPE'S DR. THORPE, ST. FRANCIS GET HIGH PRAISE

I had the opportunity to come to Cape Girardeau to attend in surgery with Dr. William Thorpe. I had been to one of Dr. Thorpe's many training sessions in laser surgery for arthroscopic procedures. It was quite a wonderful experience coming to Cape Girardeau. I was very impressed with St. Francis Hospital and the staff. Dr. Thorpe has quite a team.

I did my training at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, and I have been to Mayo Clinic and a number of other illustrious institutions. St. Francis and Dr. Thorpe's practice certainly stack up well.

He is an extremely gifted surgeon as well as a wonderful teacher.
