Someone must respond to W.T. Woods' Jan. 5 letter. Expressing an opinion is one thing, but to blatantly give false data as documented fact is something far beyond irresponsibility.

I am fed up with Bill Clinton and his attack dogs like James Carville, Larry Flynt and a local wannabe, W.T. Woods, and all of their denying and diversions. I am bored with their pathetic partisan attacks and character assassinations in their attempts to whitewash our White House tar baby.

I know sex is the only thing Mr. Woods and others like Larry Flynt want us to focus on. But all 10 commandments, if broken, are equally condemnable by God. Men like Mr. Woods invented the concept of proportionality, labeling one sin worse than another to suit a personal agenda. But God will hold these men accountable for lying just as severely as any of the others.

I think Mr. Woods should want to substantiate his absurd accusations and ridiculous data. I challenge him to do that. Give us valid references available to the public that we can check for ourselves. If he does, then my apologies will be offered. But if he does not substantiate his silly assertions and does not validate the exact data in the letter, then he is to be most pitied.

It is not mean-spiritedness that demands accountability. Honor, integrity, honesty and duty demand it.
