To the editor:
Have your visitation rights been continuously inteferred with and roadblocked? How many times have you driven to pick up your child for visitation and been refused or find no one at home? Has this gone on for months? Years? Are you denied to play a role in your child's life simply because you are not the custodial parent?
These issues, as well as custody, child support and domestic relations, are expressed in House Bill 1403 sponsored by Patrick Dougherty.
Children deserve, as well as need, the love of both parents.
Divorced parents must be educated to put their anger and resentment aside and put the children first.
In these situations, nothing is as frustrating as the absence of child-support payments, and nothing is as painful as the absence of one's child.
Support HB 1403 and lessen the frustration and pain for all involved.
