To the editor: So Cardinals president Mark Lamping needs a counterproposal from Governor Holden. Let's see. They are asking $250 million from the taxpayers who are already paying stiff prices for a day at the ball park at today's rates. The cost to sign Alex Rodriguez was $240 million. The owners have created a monster and want the fans and taxpayers to bail them out. So what should the answer be from the state? Well, duh...
