To the editor:
I just read that the plan for invading Iraq starts with dropping more bombs on Baghdad in two days than were dropped in the whole Gulf War. This is a densely populated area, and low-end estimates are that 500,000 innocent Iraqis will die. This is insane. This is not a war. It's a massacre. Iraq has done nothing to the United States, and Saddam Hussein is under control. How can we say we're a Christian nation? Does anybody really think this will make us safer from terrorists in the long run? How can we say we're helping the Iraqi people when we're bombing them?
