To the person who was too impatient to obey the law while going west on Cape Rock Drive Monday morning:

I am so sorry I was driving the speed limit. This caused you to pass me in a no-passing zone and then crawling about 15 mph in front of me and finally slamming on your brakes.

The fault must have been mine, because you then turned in your seat and started gesturing at me.

I took your license number and was going to report you, but two thing occurred to me. First, the police have more serious matters to attend to than your idiocy. Second, if you continue driving without respect for laws and other drivers, you will soon find yourself in far worse trouble than if I had reported you.

I just pray that you do not cause harm or death when that happens.
