In response to "Empty Toybox needs filling for Christmas": It was truly heartbreaking to read the article about the empty Toybox. My wife and I don't have a lot with me being disabled and her being laid off, but thanks to family and the grace of God, we get by. We make sure our daughter has a good Christmas, and we never fail to put some change in the Salvation Army kettle and donate toys to either Toybox or one of the other toy programs. We also make a special trip to donate canned goods. We all need to take a step back and look at what we have, be thankful and then make sure that no child or any other person is without, especially on Christmas.
