They got behind a new coach, Tim Billings, and watched as the team recovered from a disheartening defeat in its first game and went on to defeat its next two opponents Southern Illinois University and Illinois State after exciting comebacks.

It's easy to come out and support your local team when it's on a winning streak. But now that the Indians have lost to their last three opponents, they need crowd support more than ever.

Homecoming is Oct. 21 against Murray State. It's a conference game against a perennial Southeast rival.

What a perfect opportunity to don a red sweatshirt and sit with other Indians fans, cheering on the new coach and his hard-working team!
