It was amazing to realize that the actors were not wired for sound, yet you could hear and understand each word over the clicking of happy dancing feet and wonderful orchestra music. The choreography, costuming, sets, scene changes, orchestra, acting and singing were exemplary with special recognition to director Kenneth L. Stilson, costume designer Rhonda Weller-Stilson, vocal director Judith Farris, choreographer Lees Hummel, scenic designer and technical director Dennis C. Seyer, music director Christopher Goeke and lighting designer Philip Nacy.

What grand memories that will last a life time were made for the students, the audiences and, we're sure, for the professors, too. We were proud to help and be a small part of "42nd Street" and the growing success of Southeast Missouri's performing arts program. Congratulations to all involved. It is a job well done.
