It is questionable whether the memorable days of bipartisanship which are so dear to John McCain can be re-enacted so long as control of the party remains so firmly in the hands of the present kingmakers.

So remember who brought you Social Security and Medicare. Also remember who brought us the deepest government deficit in history. Decide who will most seriously address these challenges along with all the rest.
