The editorial from The (Rochester, N.Y.) Democrat and Chronicle concerning global warming claims Earth's temperature is rising about one degree a year. This must be a typo, otherwise we'd all be dead by now. I'm not an expert, which is OK because most scientists supporting the concept of global warming aren't either. Some studies think they've detected a warming of maybe one degree every 100 years. But even that's unsubstantiated due to the debate between credible scientists that some areas of the planet are actually cooling. I'm sure if you check your sources you'll find the facts of the article were erroneously presented, as were just about all the situations in the movie "The Day After Tomorrow."
