To the editor:
This is to the two sisters who were shopping at J.C. Penney on May 3 with their nephew. My son and I appreciated your help and suggestions in picking out the suits, shirts and ties for him to try. After you found out what degree he was graduating with, you offered several suggestions for job opportunities and certifications he could strive for in future years.
Since I had to get him home so he could go to work, he didn't get a chance to try the suit pants on, so we put them on hold. He called the other night to make plans for shopping and mentioned that he had the suit and they he had received it Saturday night at work. He thought I had gone back to the store, bought the suit and dropped it off at the restaurant.
Imagine our surprise and disbelief that the suit came from you two. You both went above and beyond helping two strangers with clothes shopping and job advice. But to buy the suit for him was overwhelming.
Things always happen for a reason. While we may never know why you did what you did, please know that we will pay it forward. Thank you for your help, your kindness, your advice and your generosity. You are truly blessed to have each other, and we were blessed when you entered our lives May 3.
