Gators food drive a success

To the editor:

The Gator Swim Team would like to thank everyone who generously donated food during our food drive for F.I.S.H. this past Friday at Food Giant. We would also like to thank all the fine people at Food Giant for letting us set up at their store. This service project was part of our first annual swim-a-thon in which our swimmers swam 200 consecutive laps (5,000 yards) or two consecutive hours on Saturday morning. Once again, the Gators thank everyone who helped make this past weekend a Gator success.
