We would like to take this opportunity to thank all who participated in the first annual parenting conference, "Bridging The Gap", co-sponsored by the Cape Girardeau and Jackson Public School Districts.

A special thank you to Dr. Neyland Clark and Mr. Wayne Maupin who have whole-heartedly supported "bridging the gap" between the parents of our two school districts.

As a result of tremendous community support, we were able to offer the conference free of charge to all interested attendees. Our hats are off to all of our corporate sponsors.

We would like to thank our speakers who voluntarily provided valuable information to parents in six different workshops.

Finally, our thanks to the 400 plus parents who so eagerly attended the conference. Your involvement in the education of your children is one of the greatest gifts you can give them!

With this year's success behind us, planning has already begun for next ~~~year's event! The second annual "Bridging The~ Gap" conference will be held March 5, 1994. We hope to see you there!
