To the Editor:
Everything in life is a religious issue, even your own economics.
As we look to God for his will in our lives, we are taught to "trust in the Lord with all our heart and acknowledge Him in all our ways." This means we should consider God's desire or God's will for us in how we spend our money and in all of the decisions that we make.
As you decide on how to vote on this issue, ask yourself if your decision would be pleasing to God. He wants us to be prosperous and successful, but His formula is through obedience to Him.
Gambling is mismanagement of God's resources and does not conform to His way.
Don't be easily swayed. Knowing what God wants you to do will enable you to discern when to submit to well-meaning people and when to say "no" graciously.
