To the editor:Linda Sanders fails to understand that her dear Democratic Party has vowed to stay the course in Iraq. Democrats are not seriously proposing a reduction in force, a reduction in war funding or an immediate withdrawal. Democrats have spent the better part of three years criticizing the president for his supposed failed Iraq policy, yet they can't offer up any alternative solution. Sanders should either embrace or denounce this stay-the-course philosophy. Sanders ignored the aforementioned facts and would rather join her crony Alan Journet on the PNAC conspiracy theory bandwagon than admit her party's failure.

Sanders went on to attack Chad Craft for embracing Nancy Pelosi. I've researched Craft's letters and cannot find such an endorsement. Pelosi and her Liberal cohorts are being exposed for what many of us knew they were and would be.

Sanders wants to argue against common sense, as is typical of liberals. I take the simple view that for every terrorist we kill, there's one less terrorist plotting to kill me (the infidel).

Sanders stated that because of "Bush defenders like Craft, hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and 3,000 Americans are dead." What an outrageous statement. Craft, like hundreds of our fellow citizens, actually served in Iraq. Craft, like thousands of others in our community, actually have sacrificed to protect our freedoms.

Sanders cannot be taken seriously. She can't even accept the fact that the Senate is divided with 48 Republicans, 48 Democrats and two Independents.
