Danforth makes Missouri proud

To the editor:

The comments about John Danforth are wonderful. However, I think they left out some things about our fellow Missourian. Not only has he served our state and our nation, but also our world. I can think of no other Missourian in my lifetime who has earned the respect and admiration of so many. I am truly honored to also be a Missourian. Our country, and perhaps our world, will greatly miss his honesty, integrity, common sense and, most of all, his compassion for his fellow human beings.
