CRIME STOPPERS NEEDS YOUR HELP

Each Friday, the Southeast Missourian is publishing a graphic called Crime Stoppers that calls attention to a particular crime or series of crimes in Cape Girardeau. This new feature is part of the continuing effort by the city's Crime Stoppers program to make residents aware of criminal activity and to give them an opportunity to help police find the culprits and solve the crime.

From time to time, the weekly Crime Stoppers feature will include a Fugitive Alert, seeking help from readers in locating someone who is wanted by the police.

Citizen participation is a vital part of the effort to reduce crime and to apprehend offenders when crime occurs. Check the paper each Friday for Crime Stoppers to see if you can help.
