It is time someone did something about the destruction of rivers by the Corps of Engineers. The Missouri River is not the only river or lake the corps has destroyed. I live on Clearwater Lake. I retired here three years ago, and the fishing was decent. Now there is none due to the rapid release of water at the dam controlled by the corps, removing oxygen and fish for the sole purpose of preventing flooding for farmers in Arkansas who then pump water and fish into their fields. This dam is controlled by the corps in Arkansas, not Missouri as it should be, and the corps takes no suggestions from anyone. The property value has dropped, and the small businesses are suffering.
