To the editor:Just a quick note to say thank you for reprinting "Continuity" by Jean Bell Mosley on the July 3, 2007, Opinion page. I always enjoyed Jean Bell Mosley's columns in the newspaper. She was certainly a gifted writer. I not only enjoyed her stories, but I found that her writing had the wonderful quality of transporting me back to a simpler time in my own life as well. In reading her articles, I would often find myself living again my own days of growing up in my grandparents' backyard; wonderfully carefree days of searching for fossils in the creek, fishing with my grandpa, and soaking up the love of a one-of-a-kind grandma and extended family. Those were indeed slower and simpler times. Many days I find myself longing for that pace of life, which is so very difficult to find and capture these days. Your reprint of the article provided just such a moment and for that brief respite, for that moment of "Continuity" thank you.
