I cannot believe what I just read in our newspaper about Cape Girardeau wanting to give part of our casino money to all the surrounding towns around us for storm warning sirens. In the first place, we don't have enough of them here. I know people here who cannot hear the ones we have. Are these other cities going to help repair and maintain the damage to our streets that the extra casino traffic causes? Of course not...

We need to use that extra money for things we need here, not give it away. This is one of the most idiotic things I've ever heard of. We need to take care of our own first.
