COLLEGE STUDENTS SPEND SUMMER AS LOCAL MISSIONARIES

Four university students are spending their summer vacation being missionaries -- to Southeast Missouri. Julie Asher, Melanie Beeson, Haley Durall and Julia Metelski are helping with summer camps and vacation Bible school under the auspices of the Missouri Baptist Convention.

There are lots of ways to spend a summer, but it is both refreshing and encouraging to see university students willing to devote their time to such rewarding activities. These students are good role models, not only for the youngsters they are working with, but for other students as well.
