It is never easy to watch a magnificent oak or hickory or maple tree meet its demise, much less to see the trees in full foliage lying on their sides with their massive roots exposed.

The quick response and productive efforts of the cleanup crews provided a study in teamwork and effective use of human and machinery resources.

Hats off to all the workers who put in the long hours.
