To the editor:I have read many times in your paper news items where the attorney general says that if you're having trouble collecting child support from a deadbeat dad, give us his Social Security number and let we'll collect it for you. Evidently, that doesn't include deadbeat moms.
The judge's order in my divorce didn't mean anything. The judge didn't enforce one thing in the settlement. The attorney general has sat on his hands since 2005. The last payment this deadbeat mom made was in October 2005. I am being told my ex-wife can't be found. I could locate her in a short time.
I understand she has told some of her friends she doesn't have to pay the amount of child support awarded in our 2000 divorce. Judges favor women, and she probably will get by with it.
Attorney General Jay Nixon is running for governor. He should start doing the things he was elected to do. If he can't enforce the child-support decree, he can't run the governor's office.
