To the editor:Parents need to be better parents when it comes to giving their children things, because I've been harassed by individuals with problems. Cell phones should be limited to responsible adults and should not be in the hand of intruders and such people. There needs to be a law that anyone who sells or gives cell phones should be dealt with. Anyone in the mindset I'm in needs this to stop. Cell-phone companies should be held liable for what they sell, because they are causing us to fall victim to those who shouldn't have cell phones.
I'm outraged by how consumers don't use common sense. When are we as a society going to come to our senses when our laws are abused and ignored? We are sending the wrong message to those who know nothing about the responsibility of having a cell phone. Unless we can make it hard enough for those who use cell phones improperly, then we have failed again until we do something about the misuses of cell phones.
