It blows my mind how little police have done to clean up the intersection of Good Hope and Hanover. On a given day, you can find crack dealers, prostitutes and other people of that sort. We've had two shootings in less than an eight-week period, and still the police don't do anything. The police in New Orleans were corrupt, but the police here in Cape Girardeau are lazy. They don't do the job they've been paid to do.

I think something should be done about it. I think you all need to do something and think about this, because it's a shame. I'm ready to leave your city just because of the fact that the police aren't doing their job. They should be doing their job, but they're not.
