Awareness, outside experience

As an Air Force pilot, I've learned mission accomplishment requires situational awareness. As volunteers work to get signatures, I strive to study efforts in the 8th District. Should you review our website, you will find I have visited multiple venues and discussed issues with many 8th District stakeholders.

A sample of events I attended include a transportation update meeting sponsored by MoDOT and Senator Bond, a regional seminar on rural medical services, a hearing on a new power plant in Perryville and a disaster response seminar sponsored by Representative Emerson.

At my American Legion meetings, details of congressional constituent services and veteran benefits were covered. At a Department of Natural Resources hearing, ozone and carbon regulation by the EPA was reviewed. I participated in seminars on economic development and completed a class on entrepreneurship. Awareness and outside the beltway experience should result in satisfactory results for our district.
