On Nov. 2, you have the opportunity to elect a new Cape Girardeau County presiding commissioner. Your vote will decide which path our county will travel. Will we stay on the same course of the good old boy system, or will we take the path that opens to the voice of the people and their needs?
This office requires a person's complete and undivided attention. I am the only presiding commissioner candidate who is able to devote my complete attention to the office since I don't own any businesses and have raised my family. I will be your visible and accessible full-time presiding commissioner. I believe in using common sense in decision making. I encourage, not discourage, input from the county residents to rebuild their trust in county government.
I invite you to review our financial reports under www.mec.mo.gov. On these reports you will see who the contributors are and how the contributions were spent. These reports will indicate which candidate can stay within their budget.
On Election Day, please cast your vote for Pat Wissman as your common sense, visible and accessible full-time presiding commissioner.
PAT WISSMAN, 5373 County Road 621, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701
Paid for by Pat Wissman for County Commissioner -- Pat Wissman, Treasurer
