Most of us have common sense and are capable of thinking logically. Sometimes, however, we need to be reminded of the obvious.
Take, for example, a couple of recent health studies -- by medical doctors, no less -- pointing to the obvious fatal potential of boredom and sitting.
That's right. You knew all along that lack of exercise can contribute to health problems that might lead to an early death. Now there's an official study that confirms the relationship between sitting and dying.
A study of civil servants in Britain also points to the relationship between boredom and dying. The raw data show that people who said they were bored developed heart problems that cut their lives shorter than their active, engaged counterparts. Refined data indicate boredom may be a symptom of serious health problems.
So what should we make of all this? Try visiting any of the fine fitness centers in the area. Ask for a trainer's help. It won't be boring.

This means you can deal with both the sitting and boredom that experts now say contribute to early deaths. That's worth trying, right?
