Zora Lou Marquis, 70, formerly of Paducah, Ky., and Cape Girardeau died Monday, April 6, 1998, at Beverly Health and Rehab Center.
She was the daughter of Roy Earl and Ethel Woods Bruce. She first married Robert Burke, and later married Charles Marquis.
Marquis was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle of Paducah. She was a past worthy matron of Erie Star 332 at Camdenton.
Survivors include three sons, Dennis Burke of St. Louis, Alan Burke of Tazwell Tenn., Gary Burke of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Karen Jones of Jackson; a sister, Imogene Clark of Paducah; two brothers, Don and Orlen Bruce of Paducah; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Roth Funeral Chapel in Paducah after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Joe McCullough officiating. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Park Cemetery.
