PUXICO, Mo. -- Zoa Gertrude Cox, 90, of Puxico died Friday, Nov. 2, 2001, at Puxico Nursing Center.
She was born Oct. 9, 1911, near Puxico, daughter of William C. and Betty Hastings Gray. She and Arthur M. Cox were married Feb. 3, 1934. He died May 8, 1984.
Cox lived in the Kinder and Puxico area all her life and was a member of Kinder Chapel Church.
Survivors include a son, Dwaine Cox of Dexter, Mo.; two daughters, Pansy Barnfield of Puxico, Jewell Cookson of Imperial, Mo.; a brother, Leon Gray of Fisk, Mo.; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Revs. Ray Placher and Johnny Buttry will officiate. Burial will be in Puxico Cemetery.
