Zettie Adams, 50, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Southeast Hospital.

She was born April 13, 1960, in Cape Girardeau, to Buddy Johnson and Jeanetta Adams.

Survivors include her mother, Jeanetta Adams of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Timothy Adams of Nashville, Tenn., Josh Adams of St. Paul, Minn.; a daughter, Shaletha Adams of St. Paul; 12 brothers, Francis Ward of El Paso, Texas, Don Ward of Washington state, Randy Adams, Samuel Ward, Gene Johnson, Calvin Johnson, Scott Johnson, Mark Johnson, Tarrvacus Johnson, Kinsey Johnson, all of Cape Girardeau, Venice Johnson of Decatur, Ala., Jimmy Johnson of Detroit; seven sisters, Everlene Falconer of St. Louis, Bertha Johnson of Kennett, Mo., Rosie Mae Johnson of Chicago, Betty Mosley, Angela Johnson, Wendy Johnson, Tiesha Johnson, all of Cape Girardeau; hosts of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by two children, grandparents, two sisters and a brother.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Friday at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral will be at noon Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Johnnie Thomas officiating.

Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to offset expenses of the funeral and will be accepted at the funeral home.
