SCOTT CITY -- Funeral service for Zelma Vivian McBroom of Scott City will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The Rev. Randy Morse will officiate, with burial in Lightner Cemetery.
Friends may call at the chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
McBroom, 84, died Tuesday, April 1, 1997, at Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 26, 1912, at Diehlstadt, daughter of Joel and Leona Carter Jennings. She and Homer McBroom were married in 1968. He died Dec. 27, 1979.
McBroom was a licensed practical nurse, and had worked at Jewish Hospital in Kansas City.
Survivors include two sisters, Sevella Cummins of Scott City and Opal Sanders of Bettendorf, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
