PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Zelma M. Huber, 91, of Perryville died Monday, July 4, 2011, at her home.
She was born Dec. 11, 1919, in Perry County, daughter of Herman and Mary Elona "Loni" Moore Schumer. She and Leonard J. Huber were married Nov. 25, 1939. He preceded her in death July 12, 1987.
Mrs. Huber was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Ladies Sodality and Ladies of Charity.
Survivors include two daughters, Janet Marie Dubois of Perryville, Joan (John) Bobbitt of Warrenton, Mo., four sisters, Frances McCullough of Caseyville, Ill., Leona Richardet, Evelyn (Ray) Sauer and Edna (Roy) Biri, all of Perryville; four half brothers, Dennis (Kathy) Schumer, Lawrence (Connie) Schumer and Eddie Lee (Barb) Schumer, all of Friendly Valley, Mo., Leonard Schumer of St. Mary, Mo.; three grandchildren, Christina Gates, Andrew Dubois and Mary Stangl; three great-grandchildren, Brian Gates, Johnathon and Katarina Gates.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, Herman Jr., Gilbert, Alfred, an infant brother; a sister, Mildred Koeller, nine infant sisters; and a granddaughter, Anna Marie Dubois.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The Catholic wake will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday and the rosary will be recited at 8:15 a.m. Saturday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred for family use.
